Welcome!
Here you will gain a picture of who I am as a dance artist and educator.
I teach dance because it is a powerful phenomena that can effect change both within and around. In my life it has allowed me to express my values confidently and to discover the poetics of experience. In my studio practice students combine physical experience, visual and aesthetic knowledge, and problem solving to create dances that honor their inner voices.
Sincerely,
Rebecca Serrell Cyr

One last note - you may want to try capitalizing each first letter in your "Welcome To My...." see how you like it. It may look better to have all first letters capitalized instead of just some.
I still love your opening statement. It is a true window into your world as a dance educator. Great work, Rebecca.

Hello Rebecca - what a nice welcome!
Check for spelling - Here you will gain a picture of who I am as a dance and art education, rather than "an dance and art educator."
I love your welcome page, and the glimpse into what shaped you via your Tennesee Children's Dance Ensemble video. This is what I have been advocating for! Making the excitement of children dancing visible for the world to see, to increase the understanding of the power dance can have on the healthy and magnificent expression of young dancers! Brava! How fortunate you were to have had that early experience and how fortunate your own students are to have you as their role model. How fortunate I am to know you as a student and a fellow educator/artist! Thank you. KI

Take a look at your banner and then your photo. Look at it from an outsider's perspective. Get feedback. Do you need the photo? Do you want to change the location of it on the page? Make it larger? Change the font, or boldness of your welcome?

I love this welcome! Is there any way to make your photo a bit larger - it goes so well with your welcome statement. Lovely. KI
